Note:

  • The page range for a chapter in a book is no longer required in bibliography entries. In a note, cite specific pages as applicable (See 14.8)
  • A place of publication is no longer required in book citations for books published after 1900 (see 14.31)
General Format 
 
Full Note: 
1. Author First Name/Initial Surname, "Title of Chapter or Article," in Book
Title: Subtitle of the Book (Publisher, Year), Volume #:page #.
2. Author First Name/Initial Surname, "Title of Chapter or Article," in Book
Title: Subtitle of the Book (Place of Publication if before 1900, Year), Volume #:page #.
