Adopting Open Textbooks

Found your textbook and ready to adopt? Fill out the Adoption form at https://open.bccampus.ca/adoption-of-an-open-textbook/. Faculty adoption information is important to the long term viability of the BCcampus open textbook project.

Submitted Adoption Forms now automatically populate the adoption stats on the home page of https://open.bccampus.ca/ and the newly expanded Open Textbook Stats page found at https://open.bccampus.ca/open-textbook-stats/. Because of this, it has become even more important that B.C. post-secondary faculty who have adopted an open textbook fill out this form.

Moodle and Open Textbooks

Once you have decided to adopt an open textbook, you can simply place the link for it into your Moodle site to give your students access to an online version.

If you are using a BCcampus open textbook, you can give your students the option of paying a minimal charge for a print copy.
