Find Graphic Novels

Finding Graphic Novels

TRU Library collects graphic novels as part of its literature and leisure collections as well as in other disciplines such as Science. To find graphic novels in the library collection you can do one or a combination of the following:

1) Enter your search term "graphic novels" or "comic books, strips, etc." in the Discover box on the library's home page.  This will search for the term across several library holdings including print and electronic books, newspapers, journals, and media.

2) Choose the "Books & Media" tab on the library's home page and enter search term "graphic novels" or "comic books, strips, etc." in the search box.

Call Number Range

Graphic Novels tend to be in the following LC call number range:

PN 6727-6790 Comic books, strips, etc. (Graphic Novels)

But there are exceptions. When using the library catalogue, perform a subject search for "graphic novels" to see a more comprehenisve list of all TRU Library's graphic novels, movies adapted from graphic novels, and books about graphic novels.

What is Manga?
