Get a Library Card

Kamloops and Williams Lake Students

Your TRU Campus Card is your library card. Show your card every time you wish to borrow materials from the library. 

• Kamloops students: order your TRU Kamloops Campus Card
• Williams Lake students: order your TRU Williams Lake Campus Card

Student library accounts expire at the end of August. Returning student accounts are automatically reactivated in early September. 

Open Learning Students

New TRU-OL students are loaded into the library system weekly. Accounts expire at the end of August. Returning student accounts are automatically reactivated in early September. 

Faculty, Staff, & Emeritus

Your Campus ID Card is your Library card. To request a Campus ID Card, contact Print Services (scroll down to the "Campus Card" section for instructions). Please note: Pick up your Campus ID Card from Print Services (OM 1206). Library accounts expire annually.

Alumni and Community Users

TRU Alumni, and Kamloops community members not currently affiliated with Thompson Rivers University, can access a number of TRU Library services. For more information, see the guide Alumni and Community User Resources.

• Alumni: Contact TRU Alumni. Accounts expire annually.
• Kamloops community members: To register for a Community User Card, please visit the Research Help Desk, 3rd floor, House of Learning Library, during open hours. Accounts expire annually.
