Introduction

Welcome! This guide is designed to help students with peer review and copy editing for SOCW 4800, but these resources and tips can be used for any student peer-review or editing project.

This may seem like an intimidating project, but the result of having your assignment published in an open access journal will be fantastic! This is also the kind of project that is great to talk about in cover letters, during job interviews, in applications to graduate school, and to your grandmother. So dive right in to these materials that are designed to help you out, and if you have questions at any point feel free to contact me (Erin) or your professor.

If you would like to be a peer-reviewer for the journal, email either Bala or Erin to let us know. Remember, it is not as intimidating as it seems, and we are here to help!
