The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the North American business economy. Developed jointly by the US Economic Policy Committee, Statistics Canada, and Mexico's Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Geografia.

Presents balance sheet, income statement and ratio data on a quarterly basis covering 31 financial and non-financial sectors and their totals at the all Canada level.
