Yes, the TRU Library is undertaking the development of a new five-year strategic plan. Changes are underway to space, resources, and services, and you can have your say. Below you will find links to our surveys, as well as dates for forums and focus groups.
The development of a new five-year plan for TRU Library involves five stages:
1. Discovery (October): Gathering information, data, and perspectives that will help inform planning decisions. This includes a robust campus-wide consultation and a community survey.
2. Preplanning (October): Organizing the staff and faculty planning sessions.
3. Planning (November-December): Four planning sessions will take place with different stakeholders. The focus of the four sessions is outlined below:
Session 1 - Vision, Mission, and Values
Session 2 - Strategic Priorities
Session 3 - Goals and Objectives
Session 4 - Outcomes, Outputs, and Measures
4. Communication (December-January): Writing and revising the final strategic plan document
5. Implementation (January 2019 and beyond)
Your input matters to us. For us to provide excellent spaces, resources, and services, we need to know what you use, what you need, and what you can imagine. We encourage you to complete our online survey, attend a forum or focus group, or both!
