COVID-19 Library Service and Closures Update:
March 18, 2020, 1:30pm
As of 5:00pm March 18, 2020, TRU Library will be supporting students and faculty fully online. During this time, print collections are unavailable. The Library will continually renew any items that you may have signed out (books, videos, etc.). Please hold on to them and return them at a later date.
TRU Library is committed to supporting students and faculty online.
The following resources and services are unavailable:
Due to COVID-19, TRU Library can no longer obtain physical items (i.e., books, CDs, DVDs) from other libraries as many are closed. Requests for these items will not be filled.
Requests for articles and book chapters will continue to be processed with online delivery. However, that will depend upon what other libraries are able to provide.
Please hold on to any physical ILL items (i.e., books or videos) that you have and return them when full library service resumes. You will not be charged any overdue fines for these items during this period of reduced service.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the TRU Library will not be sending any physical items (i.e., books and videos) to any library users. We will continue to try and supply copies of articles and ebook chapters via online delivery.
Please hold on to any physical items (i.e., books or videos) that you have borrowed through the TRU Library (including books obtained from other libraries via our interlibrary loan service) and return them when full library service resumes. You will not be charged overdue fines for these items during this period of reduced service.
